Navigating Markets in 2026: Where Alpha Still Exists
This presentation outlines a disciplined, institutional framework for navigating today’s market, where liquidity is supporting prices but valuation and earnings trends are constraining broad upside. Using Singular Research’s proprietary MMI (Major Market Indicators), we identify a “selective alpha” environment—one that rewards stock picking over passive exposure. The talk highlights where inefficiencies are most pronounced, including small and micro caps, special situations, and mispriced assets, supported by high-conviction investment ideas. It also challenges conventional macro narratives—such as oil shocks—showing why their impact is structurally diminished in today’s economy.
