TOPIC 1
Dr. Charles Lieberman is a founding member and serves as chief investment officer for Advisors Capital Management LLC., and independent money management and investment advisory firm. The firm is responsible for managing more than $10 billion in assets, and servicing financial advisors and private clients throughout the country. Dr. Lieberman has overall responsibility for managing its separate account portfolios.
Charles is a graduate of MIT with a bachelors in economics, and earned his Ph.D in economics from the University of Pennsylvania. Dr. Lieberman is frequently quoted in the media, appearing often on CNBC, Bloomberg radio and TV, CNN, Fox Business News, and the major television networks.
Trump, Tariffs and the Economic and Investment Outlook
Charles plans to talk about the state of the economy and to distinguish between market fears and likely reality. As just seen, markets tend to overreact when there are negative things happening, like tariffs and military conflicts, but less negative outcomes are vastly more likely. It is absolutely normal for markets to overreact to this kind of turmoil. But as clarity emerges on tariffs, the market should rebound. Valuations are commonly described as high, but Charles will show why this is wrong.
